According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Anthony Thomas Cowgill, 25, was operating a 1987 Yamaha 30 ATV when he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Melrose avenues shortly before 5 p.m., then struck a 2020 GMC Terrain, which had the right-of-way. The ATV is not legal for use on the roadway.
