In its quest to carve out a chunk of the OLED TV market, Samsung has, until now, focused on the premium end with impressive QD-OLED models. But today, Samsung announced the entry-level S85D series of OLED TVs, bringing the fight to LG Electronics at lower price points as well.

Samsung will also add 42-, 48-, 77- and 83-inch sizes to its step-up S90D OLED TV series, which hit shelves in March. The 48-, 77- and 83-inch S90D TVs are available now, and the 42-inch is expected to arrive in late May.

Samsung has also confirmed new sizes for its S90D OLED TV, which will now be available in tiny (42-inch) and huge (83-inch) versions in addition to the previously announced 48-, 55-, 65-, and 77-inch models.
