Lawmakers on Wednesday will grill the leaders of three school districts in liberal cities about alleged antisemitic incidents, marking the first such Congressional hearing to focus on K-12 schools.

Leaders of three large public school systems told a congressional panel Wednesday that they’re fighting antisemitism with education and, when necessary, discipline, rejecting accusations that they have allowed hate to go unchecked.

Politicians said educators had not done enough. But the New York chancellor said members were trying to elicit “gotcha moments” rather than stop antisemitism.
