The exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists is underway in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam. The encounter comes in the wake of the attack on the convoy of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in Poonch.

An Indian Air Force convoy was attacked in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of one personnel and injuring five others. A massive search operation has been launched in the region to apprehend the terrorists responsible.
