The NFL draft is officially over. The Eagles selected the newest members of their franchise and filled in some of their biggest offseason needs. Now, following the draft and free agency, the 2024 roster is starting to take shape.

DeJean, 21, ran a 4.44 40-yard dash at Iowa’s pro day after being unable to do the physical workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine because of a fractured leg that cost him the final four games of last season. He said he is fully recovered from the injury now.

The Eagles have attempted to fix their secondary in the first two rounds. Eagles’ first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell and DeJean both could develop into great players and be some of the biggest steals in this year’s draft. Neither was expected to be available where they went.

Roseman is a magician on draft weekend, and his command of pick value both in the present and the future and his ability to quickly juggle those picks to gain value is remarkable.
