The rise of the zero turn radius mower has ushered in a new era in lawn maintenance. Homeowners can cover more ground in less time with a level of precision not possible with traditional lawn tractors, which minimizes the time needed for string trimming afterward. Never ones to rest on the laurels of past achievement, we began work on developing attachments to cater to the needs of zero turn owners. The first fruit of those development efforts is finally here: Brinlys 48" Front Mount ZTR Dethatcher. Its patented one-bolt design allows it to be mounted to a wide variety of makes and models in under a minute by clamping firmly around the wheel casters on the mower. Its position in front of the machine gives the operator greater control and articulation, allowing the tines access to corners and other tight spaces where a tow-behind unit simply couldnt reach. Placing the dethatcher forward of the mowing deck also provides a significant increase in efficiency by enabling pickup of thatch and either collection or mulching in a single pass. What would normally require one pass to extract the thatch and another to collect or mulch it can now be accomplished in half the time. Stop letting your attachment limit you. Get a dethatcher that was designed specifically for use with ZTRs, designed by the brand that America has trusted for over 175 years. Front-Mounting Design: Mounting in front of the mower allows the extracted thatch to be mulched by the mower blades, for faster decomposition, or collected using a sweeper. Triple-Coil Strength: The (24) 3/16? diameter triple coil strength spring steel tines guarantee maximum efficiency, durability and thatch removal. One-Bolt Clamping: This patented design allows for quick attachment to the mower without any modification whatsoever. Dual-Rotating Wheels: Two swiveling caster wheels ensure that the tines follow the contours of the lawn to prevent damage and maximize thatch pickup Heavy-Duty Steel: Thick steel plating and square tubing is treated with a tough powder-coat finish to prevent rust and ensure long-lasting durability. Two Rows of Tines: The two rows of independently flexing tines remove dead grass and roots (thatch), allowing your lawns root system access to water and nutrients.
