The Treasure Garden Art Deco 80 lb. Umbrella Base is a versatile umbrella base which adapts to many uses. The base consists of a 50 lb. Art Deco base and 30 lb. add on weight. It comes with a 17.5" dual purpose stem made up of 6.5" and 11" lengths that will hold a 1.5" diameter umbrella pole, but you can order an optional stem to accommodate up to a 2" umbrella pole. The stem can fit under a table base thanks to the dual purpose stem which reduces its height to fit low clearance table bases. The Art Deco base is made of a cast aluminum shell and a cast iron core in six diverse paint finishes.Rust: Rust is a natural part of the aging process of all Steel or Iron based materials and is therefore NOT considered a defect. Treasure Garden Cast Iron & Steel plate bases are designed to require minimum maintenance. Bases should be kept clean. Do not let dirt build up on the bases. Cleaning with mild soap and water, and seasonal touch-up of any scratches, chips or occasional rust see page from crevices or hidden, un-finishable surfaces inherent in some designs is all that is required. Touch Up paint in matching frame colors are available. Never leave bases standing in water.
