Available in kit form or full length extrusions, each system is carefully designed and packaged to arrive within a few days of order placement; all kits are ADA compliant for interior and exterior use. Whether you have a new build or a complicated remodel, Contractor ADA will simplify your ADA requirements. Municipalities and professional builders choose Contractor ADA Handrail to achieve code compliance with the updated 2010 ADA Standard for Accessible Design. Our system has the ability to conform to virtually any configuration giving you a finished product using our code compliant no weld compression fittings. The simplicity involved in the assembly of the system allows anyone to achieve a professional finished handrail the first time. The most common question is what do I need to build this railing? Our pre sized ADA railing kits include end caps or wall returns (depending on the kit) with adjustable mounting brackets. Connection pieces such as elbows, transitions, and end loops include a 3 in. mill splice. Systems can be joined together, or cut to size using standard power tools. All a-la-cart components fit our pipe which is 1.9 in. OD. The larger 5 in. mill splice is ONLY required if you are connecting straight pipe to straight pipe (kit or standalone) It is a very simply system.
