This 6-foot-on-center wood stair railing kit for outdoor stairs comes in a ready-to-build kit complete with balusters. The round balusters are black powder-coated aluminum. The rails are molded with rounded edges and cut with a 34-degree angle for easy installation. The railing kits are available in 3 types of wood that resist insects and rot: solid cedar, pressure-treated, or color-treated. Color-treated rails are pressure-treated wood infused with colorant, so you wont need to stain them. To lock in color, waterproof as needed. To complete your railing, youll need posts and post caps, not included. Rails are backed by a lifetime limited warranty. Color-treated rails are also backed by a 5-year color assurance warranty. Not recommended for line railings. For horizontal rails, use model 447295 (pressure-treated), 448158 (color-treated cedar tone), 446446 (color-treated walnut tone), 446319 (color-treated redwood tone), and 447173 (cedar).
