This is a pair of vintage 1950s to 1970s triple divided serving dish or small round tray. Made of thick glass, these thumbprint pattern dishes are both stylish and multi-functional. Perfect to use at parties to serve guests food, or use to organize small things for crafting or what you might keep on your nightstand, like loose change, keys, whatever. Unsigned with no hallmark. Buy one or buy both for a discounted price. KEY FEATURES Approximate dimensions: 8 inches in diameter, 1 1/4 inches tall. Like new condition. Pristine. No apparent chips or cracks that I can find. Fantastic retro colors. Each dish is divided into three equal areas. PROVENANCE AND INFORMATION This comes from my grandma's collection. She lived in the small town of Yorkville, Ohio in a cute house that was originally built in 1927 and renovated in 1970. She had these on display in a curio cabinet with other various glass pieces. Over the decades, she curated an interesting glass collection, from pressed to blown, from clear to cobalt blue, to avocado green to amber orange, to crimson red to multi-hue. Practical and versatile, this dish can be used for entertaining guests at a party or use for storing craft items, like buttons, beads, needles, glitter, and such, or use on the nightstand to hold loose change, keys, rings, etc. For parties, use to serve various types of sauces and dips, or serve up three different kinds of appetizers, or place various food items in each segment for guests to build their own, such as cheese, fruit, and crackers, or other combinations. You could also use these to serve candy to your guests or put on your desk at the office and allow coworkers to help themselves to some sweet treats or mints. Or use for gaming to hold different types of dice. Very easy to store when not in use; they're stackable with similar dishes. Clean in warm water with a soft sponge and dish soap. Not for use in ovens, microwave ovens, or dishwashers. Made of glass, so take care around kids and pets. Glass may shatter when dropped. Purchase for yourself or give as a gift.
