This urn is 200 cubic inches in volume and will hold cremains for someone who had a healthy body weight of 200 pounds or less. This size makes this urn a great option for most adults. Regardless of the ceremony type chosen (water vs. burial), the cremains of your loved one should be placed inside of the included water-soluble bag and then the bag should be placed inside the urn. Once inside, the sides of the eco-urn are folded closed, and the band will be tied around the middle of the container. Following these steps will ensure that the cremains remain secure inside the biodegradable urn until the time of ceremony. This urn is TSA-compliant for "in-cabin" airline transportation. The EnvironmentEarthurns are manufactured with the environment in mind. The tree bark used to make the urn is harvested from the mulberry tree in such a way that the tree continues to grow, undamaged.
