The 2", saucer-shaped flowers bloom in clusters above the dark green foliage in late spring and will continue blooming periodically throughout the summer. While deer tend to avoid this plant, butterflies are attracted to it. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Johnson's Blue Geranium grows best in well-drained soil, but will tolerate clay and sandy soils, and is drought-tolerant, once established. The plant can be divided every 3-4 years.
