The mounting could not be more simple and easily holds shells. The only complaint that I have is that not all shells fit snug and this could be an issue with retention. Some other side saddles have rubber nubs or inserts that allow for adjustable retention but unfortunately this option is not here. Maybe V2, lol.\nLove it looks solid and fits on rail prefect\nI\u2019m sure this is fine for any single barrel pump action or even something like a M4. I bought this for my DP12. This shotgun was too wide to allow shells to be inserted without the pump action hitting the material of the holder. Bought a picatinny raiser for another.
