The insert placed over the plastic base smooths gliding and is removable for replacement. Its spool over the handle is made of Delrin plastic, so it rubs with low friction against the handle to keep it operating longer without wear and tear. This can opener can accommodate various can sizes with an 11-inch maximum height. Product Details. For use with cans as big as 11 in. high. Delrin plastic spool with minimal friction against the handle. Rust-resistant, melonite arbor. Supports gear changing. Rigid base design. Plastic base insert provides smooth gliding.
