Elon Musk's social media platform X has resumed operations in Brazil following a contentious standoff with the country's Supreme Court that led to a month-long ban. The ban was lifted after X, formerly known as Twitter,

Moraes had blocked access to the platform, owned by Elon Musk, after it had refused to ban several profiles deemed by the government to be spreading misinformation about the 2022 Brazilian Presidential election.

Social media giant X was available to some Brazilian users on Wednesday, one day after the country's Supreme Court cleared billionaire Elon Musk's platform to resume service for complying with court rulings.
