The Los Angeles Dodgers have controlled the NL West for much of the season, but entering Wednesday’s night game against the Los Angeles Angels, they had slipped to second place, with their recent skid opening the door for the San Diego Padres to re-enter the race.

Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani makes MLB history once again, accomplishing a feat that has not been done in 125 years.

Taking over for Ohtani was the bullpen trio of Anthony Banda, Justin Wrobleski and Edgardo Henriquez, who combined to allow three hits, four walks and two earned runs in 3 2/3 innings to surrender the lead to the Angels.
