'Kindness' has been named as Oxford Children’s Word of the Year for 2024, while 'slay' and 'skibidi' have been named among the most popular slang terms. According to Oxford University Press, 61 per cent of children chose 'kindness', followed by a quarter opting for 'artificial intelligence', and seven per cent selecting 'conflict'.
