Krispy Kreme customers can get a free medium hot or iced coffee with no other purchase necessary this National Coffee Day. However, the chain is also running a deal allowing customers to buy one dozen glazed donuts and get a second dozen for $2 on Friday. The Nutmeg State has just one Krispy Kreme location in Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville.

That equates to about 1.7 cups daily for everyone in the U.S., or 2.8 cups daily per coffee drinker, amounts which have remained steady since 2020, the group says. The U.S. imports the most coffee and is expected to import 20% of the world's volume of coffee in 2023-2024 (about 28.
