Elon Musk will pay a visit to the Pentagon on Friday after the tech billionaire received an invitation from Secretary Pete Hegseth, the Defense Department said late Thursday evening.

Questions are being raised about the purpose of Elon Musk's visit to the Pentagon earlier today. The New York Times first reported, and NPR confirmed, that Musk was meant to be briefed on China.
