The Mohegan Sun ownership group has reportedly hired investment bank Allen & Co. to explore selling the Connecticut Sun amid WNBA expansion.

According to a report from Sportico, the Mohegan Sun has hired an investment bank firm to explore the option of selling the WNBA's Connecticut Sun.

Connecticut Sun president Jennifer Rizzotti said Tuesday that the team's ownership group is "exploring all options to strategically invest in the team," including a potential sale.
