China on Wednesday suspended curbs on exports of rare earths and other goods and technologies for military use targeting 28 US entities as part of the trade detente struck between the world’s two largest economies.

Export restrictions for 28 American companies on dual-use items are on hold for 90 days, according to China's Commerce Ministry. China also paused non-tariff measures on 17 U.S. entities on the unreliable entity list.

China has temporarily lifted export restrictions for 28 American companies after reaching a trade agreement with the United States. However, key restrictions on the export of seven rare earth metals remain in place.

The suspension aligns with the recent agreement between China and the US to temporarily reduce tariffs on each other's products.
