Chi-Chi's Mexican restaurants are slated to make a comeback more than two decades after closing amid a hepatitis A outbreak. The son of its original founder will reopen the restaurant chain in 2025.

A Chi-Chi's source confirmed to PEOPLE that they will open two restaurants in Minnesota in 2025, 20 years after shuttering all of their locations.

The first Chi-Chi’s opened its doors in Minnesota in 1976. The chain grew to more than 200 restaurants nationwide before its owner filed for bankruptcy in 2003.
