Hormel Foods has recalled two Planters products – peanuts and mixed nuts – due to possible contamination with the bacteria that causes listeria, according to an announcement from the company that was posted by the US Food and Drug Administration on Friday.

Hormel Foods says potentially contaminated products were shipped to Publix and Dollar Tree distribution warehouses.

Planters nuts potentially contaminated with Listeria were shipped to four states, according to a recall notice from the FDA.
