Peter Jackson has found his niche in life, and it is advancing technology to restore Beatles stuff. He pioneered the tech for the 2021 docuseries Get Back, which restored cut footage from the filming of Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 Let It Be documentary.

The film chronicling the final days of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr will be available for the first time in more than 50 years when it airs exclusively on Disney+ on May 8.

Beatles purists will be thrilled to hear the news today. Disney+ will be releasing a remastered edition of the long-lost Let It Be documentary. Not to be confused with Peter Jackson’s The Beatles: Get Back,
